$PEPE has been sending mixed signals over the past few days. The memecoin was down 2.50% in the last 24 hours at the time of writing, worse than Dogecoin’s 0.94% drop and Shiba Inu’s 1.13% gain. That short-term weakness stands out. Still, the weekly picture is different. PEPE is up 7.42% over the past week, even as the memecoin sector lost 3.1% of its value. Bitcoin fell 4.4% and Ethereum dropped 5.9% over the same period, so PEPE has held up better than the broader market on that timeframe.
Short-term weakness, weekly strength
The conflict is not hard to see. On the daily chart, PEPE still has a bullish swing structure. The key levels are $0.0000032 and $0.00000536. A daily close above $0.00000536 would confirm a bullish trend continuation. Until that happens, the market is still working through the current range.
The Fixed Range Volume Profile tool puts the Value Area Low and High at $0.00000377 and $0.00000491. That means about 70% of trading volume since 11 September, when the impulse move began, has taken place between those two levels. They are important horizontal levels to watch, not just lines on a chart.
Momentum tools are not aligned
The Accumulation/Distribution indicator fell to new lows after heavy selling on 29 October. The Awesome Oscillator, however, stayed above the zero line. Those signals do not line up. They did not erase the overall bullish price bias on the daily timeframe, but buyers would probably want to see sustained demand to keep the uptrend going.
Over the past week, PEPE has moved between $0.0000042 and $0.0000056. At the time of writing, it was near the middle of that range. The technical indicators were neutral, with a slight bearish lean from the Awesome Oscillator. That makes the next move less obvious.
What traders can watch now
Swing traders and longer-term investors can stay bullish based on the daily structure, but they should be ready for a dip toward $0.0000044 or even $0.0000038. A sharp sell-off in Bitcoin could trigger that kind of move. For now, the market seems to be waiting. A daily close above $0.00000536 would give buyers more confidence, while a break below the value area levels would weaken the bullish case. I think the safer approach is to watch demand near support instead of chasing the middle of the range.
